The stunning new Nicky Clarke Salon at Spinningfields, Manchester, opened with an exclusive launch party last night and was attended by over 200 guests including Premiership Footballer, Morten Gamst Pedersen; England Cricketer James Anderson; actor John Thomson, and a host of actors and actresses from the Hollyoaks cast.

Nicky Clarke opened its first salon in Manchester in 2002 and it was the very first Nicky Clarke salon outside of London. Nicky Clarke OBE said: “We’ve had a presence in this city for almost a decade and the new salon will allow our team to continue to grow and build upon its solid reputation as one of the finest salon teams in the city”.

Located on The Avenue – Manchester’s newest high end retail destination – the new salon is surrounded by some of fashion’s biggest names including Armani, Mulberry and Oliver Sweeny.

“Spinningfields is a fantastic location for our brand. When you walk down The Avenue, you get a real sense of what a luxurious shopping experience it now offers and we are all proud to be a part of this exciting new development in Manchester city centre.” added Nicky.

The event was held in conjunction with Legende Celebrity Art who displayed over 60 individual pieces from signed sporting memorabilia to works of art by photographer Terry O’Neil and even pieces of art from the John Lennon collection.  The Art sales were in support of Francis House Children’s Hospice.

The opening of the new Manchester salon is the start of an exciting year ahead for Nicky Clarke. A whole new care and styling range will be launched later this year and the electrical range will see the addition of some innovative new products – expect much more to come from Nicky Clarke throughout 2011.
