| THREE FLOORS OF CELEBRITIES AT NICKY CLARKE |

Wednesday March 12th March certainly gave the London
paparazzi a run for their money when they were able to pap no
less than 3 celebrities at Nicky Clarke’s Mount Street salon.
On the lower ground floor having colour was Martine
McCutcheon with Colourist Patrick Coultas. On the ground
floor was Peaches Geldof having a hair-up with Stylist Lee
Radley and the first floor was Declan Donnolly (1/2 of Ant and
Dec) with Nicky himself. |

| WHAT'S HOT FOR SPRING/SUMMER? |

According to Carl Dawson, Head Colourist at Nicky Clarke in Mayfair, the seasons big style icons to follow are definitely model-of-the-moment Agyness Dean - Perfect with her pixie punk hair. Cropped and tapered - perfect for personalising into a quiff or soft fringe. Colours of the moment are extremes ice blonde or ebony black.
Kate Moss' front page fringe looks like it will stay at the top of the style list through Spring/Summer 08 as long as the look is feminine, with a little gloss and a natural flow.
The Runways highlighted several strong themes with girly hair-up styles leading the pack. Either styled loosely, pinned or soft plaits worn intertwined to the crown as well as long long fish tail plaits as featured at Giles.
The City Look is also very current. Just look out for Chanel and Balenciaga for the ultimate in smooth high gloss side parted hair, and bold top knots.
Long lustrous hair is stronger than ever before with the long awaited return of super-volume … as originally designed and patented at Nicky Clarke! Also current is naturally straight hair or hair with attitude - big bouncy and back-combed. And look out for the Summer 08 trick of long hair disguised and styled as short and chic as seen at Alexander McQueen, with the beautiful ‘bell shapes’ in Elizabethan red, gloss taupe and honey sandy blond receiving rapturous applause.
Colours of the moment? Definitely ice creamy blonde, golden hazed brunette and blushing red.

We are delighted to announce that Nicky Clarke has been made an OBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours list 2007.
Nicky is absolutely thrilled by the news, stating; "I am both surprised and delighted to receive the OBE in the Queens Birthday Honours list. I accept it as a huge personal honour and a reflection of the hard work and support of my partner Lesley in particular, and all the amazing team at the Nicky Clarke Company."
