On Monday 2nd November 2009, Jo Pallan officially opened her stunning champagne Nail Bar at the Nicky Clarke salon, Victoria Quarter, Leeds.
Based on the ground floor of the salon, Jo Pallan's champagne Nail Bar is sure to catch the attention of the thousands of shoppers who pass the salon everyday. Her Venetian mirrored furniture and classically styled Nail Bar are complemented by the gorgeous boutique atmosphere of the Nicky Clarke Salon.
Following years of travelling the UK and shaping the eyebrows of many of the nation's famous faces with her amazing threading and eyebrow shaping techniques, Jo decided it was time she came back to her home town and set up her own beauty brand. Her new champagne Nail Bar is the next step in the ever growing Jo Pallan beauty empire.

To coincide the HD launch of Sky Sports Nicky was recently asked to do a photo-call with two darts ‘greats’, Phil Taylor and Wayne Mardle. All in good humour, but the picture was picked up in quite a few national newspapers and Nicky played darts with the guys - and appeared on Sky Sports doing so! |

First he showed how tough he was by getting his leg waxed on Alan Carr’s Celebrity Ding Dong, then he wowed us with his culinary skills – and won £1000 for his charity ‘Fight for Life’ - on the first in the new series of Come Dine with Me and then created a stir by setting a tough challenge for the finalists on Celebrity Scissorhands – where he also chaired the judging panel at the live final. |

We are delighted to announce that Nicky Clarke has been made an OBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours list 2007.
Nicky is absolutely thrilled by the news, stating; "I am both surprised and delighted to receive the OBE in the Queens Birthday Honours list. I accept it as a huge personal honour and a reflection of the hard work and support of my partner Lesley in particular, and all the amazing team at the Nicky Clarke Company."

During the winter months hair can become dry and tired from harsh weather and central heating, so it is essential to maintain your hair in tip-top condition. Styles change and colours mellow during this season too. Here Nicky Clarke has some hot tips for the very best hair looks this winter…
"This winter is still about creating a hair look that is styled but not over-styled. Influence from the Hollywood retro 1940’s era is very prevalent, but it's taking it a stage further so it’s almost like a ‘done and then undone’ kind of look. Fringes, bobs and low side-partings are essential looks, but the emphasis is always on shiny, healthy looking hair. Think about warming up your hair colour for a special winter glow!"
