Hair Tips & Advice By Warren Holmes
Top Knot
The top knot has been a consistent look on the runway for designers with it often referred to as keeping things fresh and youthful. This has been adopted by the woman on the street largely due to its ease and quickness. However it isn’t simply a case of just throwing it up into a high top knot. If you want drama -- a key feeling this season -- go for an oversized top knot as seen on the runway for Lanvin a couple of seasons back.
Use ‘Nicky Clarke Tease Me‘ for texture and hold instead of backcombing. Incorporate plaits into high ponytails and wrap around. For a more decadent finish, create the top knot at the crown and sleek the hair down using serums and gels.
