‘The British Fashion Oscars were held last night at the Savoy Hotel. One of mine and Nicky’s clients, Naomi Campbell, bagged herself the Special Recognition Award for her 25 year career in fashion. She stole the show in her floor length Alexander McQueen Couture dress. Black was the colour dominating the catwalk it seemed with Victoria Beckham, Daisy Lowe, Twiggy, Lily Cole; presenter for the evening Claudia Winkleman; Designer Of the Year Celine; Creative Director Phoebe Philo and Sarah Cameron all dropping the colour. Fair play to the former, Sarah Cameron, she looked great only four months after giving birth!

Daphne Guinness and VV Brown were the most experimental with their hair. Daphne went for one of my Autumn Winter 2010/11 hair trends ‘High Drama’ ……click here to read Warren’s AW Hair trends ….using a hair ‘doughnut’ to pad hair out and create impact, volume and shape; accessorised with a hair band. VV Brown also stayed in the boundaries of Autumn Winter 2010/11, with her nod towards the 50’s with that roll in the fringe taking on a vintage look and modernising it by keeping her hair straight. Hair this season is about looking at things from a different point of view and taking different directions to update iconic styles.

Alexa Chung rocked up with a shorter chin length hair cut but still in keeping with her trademark tousled texture and grown out colour. Victoria Beckham seems to be keeping to her loose up do we’ve seen her drop a few times recently and I’m a fan. It’s simple and effortless, like she has almost thrown it up herself. Her hair is fine so it restricts her with what she can do without putting in extensions.

Claudia Winkleman went for one of my Top 5 looks for Autumn Winter 2010/11 with the mid length bold Chrissie Hynde look seen on the runway at Lanvin.

I have to give a shout out to one of the models I’ve styled – Lara Stone – winner of Model Of The Year….well deserved!
