Multi-textured looks/styles (like those seen at Missoni)
Clean partings were dominant on the runway again, with hair taken off the face, sleek and wet exposing the ears. Never has the parting been so strong; these were further endorsements of how flat hair has been this season and how flat it will continue to be so. The parting has predominantly been worn flat, strict and clean with a wet sheen texture but Missoni broke the mould by creating a contrasting texture at the mid-length and ends.
The down and pretty looks seen on the catwalk – all very natural like at Preen.
The hair at Preen was a clean and effortless style with a nod to the Upper East Side set. Hair needs to be in great condition and colour is natural with added shine. Overall the hair is still not too done, but kept soft.
Head gear – Dolce and Gabbana
Dolce & Gabbana went against the grain and opted for their signature 1950s hair combining patterned scarves, which were tied around the models heads exposing the hairline, with hair that was gathered into loose, large buns at the crown area. There was a real youthful feel to the Dolce & Gabbana look this season.
Side partings – including the cool, traversed ones seen at Acne
The Acne girl was a perfect portrayal depicting the sleek hair look this season but with a twist on the position of the parting. Taking its start from the inner edge of the eyebrow, the parting is created diagonally away from the crown.
Hair is tucked behind the ears strictly with a clean wet sheen texture, and gathered at the nape of the neck on a discreet ponytail.
