The finalist ceremony, which takes place on Monday 27th February, is one of the highlights in the hairdressing calendar.
Warren has been shortlisted in the Backstage Stylist category
We asked Warren about the awards below.
What does it mean to be a finalist in the Hair Awards 2012?
“The Hair awards has a strong presence in the mainstream so naturally I’m buzzing to be nominated. There are some really inspiring backstage stylists out there so ultimately having my work recognised, which is what we do it for rightly or wrongly, is a great achievement.”
What would it mean if you were to win?
“Backstage is a strong category, to be in such company is an honour in itself. It’s important to be recognised in the mainstream for doing hair that is slightly off the cuff at fashion week, on a shoot, or on a celebrity; it raises awareness for editorial hairdressing.”
What makes Hair Magazine one of the best hair titles on the market?
“The magazine successfully bridges the gap between fashion and commercial hair for the consumer. As a hair stylist who works on shoots, shows and in the salon it’s imperitive the consumer is open to such knowledge but done so correctly. Hair Magazine does this and that’s why myself and Nicky spend so much time working with the magazine.”
