Nicky Clarke Team were recently tasked with styling model of the moment Daisy Lowe for Stephen Webster’s advertising campaign.
The images have graced the pages of Vanity Fair, US Vogue and W Magazine.
‘The feeling of the shoot was very dark, ‘death of the bride’ I had in my mind instantly when I looked through all the references. Stephen was very clear about what he wanted, we could go dark and be dangerous but it still had to have an element of glamour to it but he encouraged me to change Daisy’s look almost to the point where people would do a double take ‘is that Daisy Lowe’. The photographer is a real artist, we shot it in his studio actually, lots of props, nothing ‘fashion’ about it, just how I like it.
I wanted to channel a real burlesque feeling through Daisy’s Hair, she has beautiful dark shiny hair but despite my best efforts to change her look the eye can’t deviate away from what Daisy actually is, quite Rocky, seductive and young’
